Please join us ringside on Tuesday, June 7th, around the lunch hour, to cheer and recognize the many Flat-Coats and their owner/handlers who have made outstanding contributions to the breed! To help celebrate these magnificent teams, we will be offering ring-side refreshments and a ROH cake. There is no charge for the cake, but please use the hospitality form to let us know you are coming so we have enough for everyone!

The Ring of Honor is an annual, by-invitation, non-competitive special presentation held at each year’s National Specialty to recognize and showcase past and current specialty winners and past and current Hall of Fame inductees. The following are invited to participate in the Ring of Honor:

  • All past Hall of Fame inductees
  • 2011 Hall of Fame inductees
  • FCRSA Specialty Best of Breed (BISS), Best of Opposite (BOSS), Obedience High in Trial, and Steady Singles winners from previous years
  • FCRSA Qualifying Field Trial winners from previous years
  • FCRSA Field Trophy winners from previous years

The ROH chair is Linda Reynolds. The announcer for the 2011 Ring of Honor will be Todd Farwell. Our presenter will be Bunny Millikin. This year’s Ring of Honor will be held immediately following the conclusion of Best Puppy in Sweeps judging on Tuesday, June 7th. Sweepstakes photos will be taken after ROH to showcase our honorees and to allow everyone time to applaud their accomplishments.

Invitations to participate in the Ring of Honor are sent each year to all Flat-Coats who have qualified in any past year. Invitations for ROH will be mailed at the beginning of February 2011 to all eligible participants with instructions for supplying information for the catalog to www.fcrsafield.com/roh . Once again this year, Ann and Cliff Steer will collect and assemble all ROH information and produce a ROH catalog, which will be provided to all ROH invitees.

The deadline for submitting all information requested on the web site is April 19, 2010.
